- Academia NDT International Research DAY (AIRD) will be organized within the 20th WCNDT.
- The plenary lecture is given by Prof. Takaaki Kajita (Nobel Prize for Physics, 2015), whom Prof. Peter Trumps (President of Academia NDT International) and Prof. Yoshikazu Ohara (Co-Opted Council Member of Academia NDT International) visited last year.
- Following the plenary lecture and award ceremony, the sessions “Frontiers of NDT” and “the Future-Now of NDT/E Education and Skills” are scheduled, where the main contributors are the Council and Full Members of Academia NDT International.
