- Prof. Francesco Simonetti [HP, Google scholar], a highly recognized pioneer in cryo ultrasonic testing (UT), visited our lab and deliverd an invited seminar. The lecture, titled “Making Waves in Ice,” began with the fundamentals of UT, followed by a comprehensive presentation of his cutting-edge research. Following the insightful lecture, a vibrant discussion ensued, lasting for over an hour. The fruitful discussion continued during the lab tour. We are deeply grateful to Prof. Simonetti for sharing his expertise and knowledge with us, inspiring us a lot.
